EVIDENCE:
At the conclusion of Race 6 an Information Instigating a Protest was presented by Stipendiary Steward Mr S Renault. The Information alleged that horse Number 9 TEST THE BOUNDARIES had galloped in excess of 50 metres within the last 200 metres of the race.
Mr Renault showed the race video of the last 200 metres of the race. He identified TEST THE BOUNDARIES finishing strongly in the middle of the track and at the 100-metre pole, break from its gait and continued on in a gallop past the winning post.
REASON FOR DECISION:
Mr Jason Ford the Driver of the horse had indicated on the Information that he did not contest the Protest. The video clearly showed TEST THE BOUNDARIES had galloped for 100 metres within the last 200 metres of the race and therefore in breach of the Rule.
CONCLUSIONS:
The Protest is upheld and TEST THE BOUNDARIES is disqualified from Race 6.
The amended result of Race 6 is:

2nd – 7 – SHOW ME THE GRAY
3rd – 14 – SPY DA MOMENT
4th – 10 – JIMMY CARTER
5th – 11 – COCHY MALC
Stakes and Dividends were ordered to be paid in accordance with the amended result.
