The start date for the Racing Integrity Board is 1 July 2021. It will manage the integrity functions for the racing industry.
The Racing Industry Act 2020 introduced new governance arrangements for the racing industry and establishes the Racing Integrity Board as an independent statutory body. The Racing Integrity Board will replace the Judicial Control Authority for Racing and the Racing Integrity Unit. I, and my fellow Board members, are pleased to have responsibility for leading this important change for the racing industry. A strong and effective integrity system is vital to the public’s confidence in the sport of racing.
—Sir Bruce Robertson, Chair of the Establishment Board
