LUVABEEL (J Parr) – Te Akau Racing Manager Mr. R Trumper reported to Stewards, LUVABEEL underwent a veterinary examination on Friday 14 February, which included a dynamic scope which showed abnormalities with the filly. R Trumper further advised LUVABEEL, will undergo vocal cord surgery on Wednesday 19 February.

LUBERON (W Kennedy) – Trainer Mr. L Noble reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of LUBERON, and at this stage will carry on with the mare’s preparation.

Race 9 DR JOHN SOUTHWORTH MEMORIAL VASE
WHISKEY ‘N’ ROSES (S Spratt) – Trainer Ms. J Surgenor reported to Stewards, that on Tuesday 11 February, WHISKEY ‘N’ ROSES, underwent a veterinary examination with no abnormalities being detected and on Thursday 13 February was examined and treated by the chiropractor for general soreness. J Surgenor further advised WHISKEY ‘N’ ROSES has not partaken in any exercise this week, however, will look to resume the gelding with light trackwork next week.
