Race 5 SAVABEEL 1400
ENCIERRO (C Grylls) – Stable Forman Mr. R Mildon advised Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of ENCIERRO and it is their intention to continue on with the gelding’s current preparation.

WINDSPEED (S Weatherley) – Stable Forman Mr. R Mildon reported to Stewards, that on Monday 29 August, WINDSPEED underwent a veterinary examination which included blood tests which showed WINDSPEED to have a slight virus in her blood. R Mildon further advised it is the stables intention to continue on with the mare’s current preparation.

Race 6 WAIKATO STUD FOXBRIDGE PLATE (1200 metres) (Group 2)
ONE MORE TIME (J Fawcett) – Trainer Mr. S Ralph advised Stewards he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, however, in his opinion the mare may have held her breath throughout the running. S Ralph further advised he may look to apply a nose band prior to ONE MORE TIMES’S next race day start.

Race 8 SUPER SETH MILE (1600 metres)
EVA CHIARA (C Grylls) – Stable Forman Mr. R Mildon advised Stewards, EVA CHIARA has now been retired from racing.
