CHIKIRA LASS (S Weatherley) – Trainer Ms. L Latta advised Stewards she was satisfied with the post-race condition of CHIKIRA LASS, and it is her intention to continue on with the mare’s current preparation.

DYNASTIC (O Bosson) – Trainer Mr. M Walker reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the colt, however, has now been sent for a spell.

Race 7 CITY OF PALMERSTON NORTH AWAPUNI GOLD CUP 2000 (G2)
HYPNOS (W Pinn) – Co-trainer Mr. R Wellwood advised Stewards, HYPNOS, may not have handled backing up from his run in the Japan Trophy, however, R Wellwood further advised the gelding will undergo a veterinary examination in the coming days, which will include x-rays. Stewards will do a further follow up with the stable next week.
