Race 5 EL ROCA – SIR COLIN MEADS TROPHY (Listed Race) 1200m
MOVE TO STRIKE (O Bossom) – Te Akau Racing Manager Mr. R Trumper reported to Stewards, that on Monday 9 September, MOVE TO STRIKE, underwent a veterinary examination including x-rays and scans to both knees and front fetlocks, with no abnormalities being detected. . R Trumper further advised, MOVE TO STRIKE will participate in a gallop on Tuesday 17 September, and will undergo an exercising ECG. Stewards will follow up on the completion of the examination next week.
Mr. R Trumper reported the results of the ECG showed a slow recovery rate and MOVE TO STRIKE has been sent for a four week spell.

Race 8 VET SERVICES EQUINE HAWKE’S BAY PREMIER 1200m
PAPA SURF (M Cartwright) – Trainer Mr. M Breslin reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, however, in his opinion PAPA SMURF may not have suited the Good 4 track conditions and could benefit from more rain effected footing. M Breslin further advised it is his intention to carry on with PAPA SMURF’S preparation.

Race 9 WESTBURY STUD TARZINO TROPHY (G1) 1400m
CROCETTI (W Kennedy) – Co-trainer Mr. D Walker reported to Stewards, upon return to the stable, CROCETTI underwent a veterinary examination which included an endoscopic examination and blood tests with no abnormalities being detected, however, CROCETTI has now been sent for a three-week spell.
