EVIDENCE:

Prior to the running of of Race 6, Stipendiary Steward Mr W Robinson identified that SAINTE ELISABETH was incorrectly presented with with saddlecloth No 13 (instead of No 14).

Ms Murdoch admitted the breach. She was not on course with Mr Jones (after discussion) signing the Information on her behalf.

The error was corrected prior to SAINTE ELISABETH entering the parade ring. There was no consequences to any other party as a result of the error.

REASON FOR DECISION:

The charge was admitted and therefore deemed proved.

SUBMISSION FOR PENALTY:

Mr Williamson submitted that a fine of $50 would be appropriate.

REASON FOR PENALTY:

This is the Training Partnership’s first breach of the Rule. Mr Williamson’s submission is consistent with the appropriate Penalty Guideline. The Adjudicative Committee see no reason to vary from same. Accordingly a fine of $50 is imposed.

CONCLUSION:

Moira Murdoch on behalf of Trainers Moira and Kieran Murdoch is fined $50.
