FACTS:
Jockey T Thornton admitted a breach of Rule 638(3)(f)(ii) in that she raised her whip above shoulder height.
EVIDENCE:
Stipendiary Steward A Dooley using the available films, pointed out that on three occasions, Jockey T Thornton’s whip was above shoulder height, clearly breaching the Rule.
Jockey T Thornton had nothing to add, but did confirm that she had seen the films.
DECISION:
As the breach was admitted, it was deemed proved.
SUBMISSIONS FOR PENALTY:
Stipendiary Steward A Dooley asked for a penalty as per the Guidelines, and that even though the plea was admitted, there was no allowance for a reduction in the penalty.
