Evidence:
Following the running of Race 2, the Abernethy Contracting/Suzuki Trot a protest was lodged by Mr V Munro alleging that FATHER ON DOWN (R McIlwrick) started in advance of its correct barrier position.
Mr McIlwrick did not contest the protest and did not wish to be present at the hearing.
Mr McIntyre highlighted the incident on the video clips which clearly showed FATHER ON DOWN starting in advance of its correct barrier position.
Decision:
FATHER ON DOWN was disqualified and was a late scratching and was declared a non runner.
