EVIDENCE:

Following the running of Race 4, Manager of Stewards, Mr Nigel McIntyre presented an Information alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) by Trainers, Steve and Amanda Telfer. Details of the Information were MISS HATHAWAY was presented with non-notified Removeable Deafners. It also stated it was the 4th breach of the Rule by the trainers since October 2021.

Mr Tim Williams representing the Trainers signed the Information admitting the breach.

Breaches of the Rule are usually handled by way of the Minor Infringement process but as this is the Trainer’s 4th breach in a short time it has been advanced to an Information.

The Adjudicative Committee in considering all factors fixed a fine of $200 as an appropriate sanction.
