The Tribunal issued a Decision on the 13th of February this year. By paragraph 7, the parties were invited to make submissions in relation to costs. Mr Jones, on behalf of the RIB, does not seek costs other than for the transcript of the hearing, this sum being $142.31. Mr Cornegé responded promptly and indicated that he did not have any submissions on costs.

Significant costs have been incurred in assembling the Appeals Tribunal, both of whom were required to travel some distance to be at the agreed venue at Te Rapa Racecourse in Hamilton. It is appropriate that Mr Pinn makes some modest contribution towards those costs.

Mr Pinn is ordered to pay the costs of the transcript $142.31. Further, he is ordered to pay the sum of $400 as a contribution towards the costs of assembling the Appeals Tribunal.
