On Friday the 15th of March 2024, the Racing Integrity Board conducted routine drug and alcohol testing on thoroughbred track work riders at Ascot Park, Invercargill.
One track work rider had a test result return as non-negative for cannabis, and the sample will be subject to confirmatory testing.
