PURPLE PROSE (M McNab) – Te Akau Racing Manager Mr. R Trumper reported to Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, however, PURPLE ROSE has now been sent for a freshen up.

RIPARIAN STREAM (R Mudhoo) – Trainer Ms. A McLeod advised Stewards, she was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, however, RIPARIAN STREAM has now been retired from racing.

Race 8 KEVIN DALY MOWERS 2000m
BEAU BRUMMELL (C Barnes) – Te Akau Racing Manager Mr. R Trumper advised Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of BEAU BRUMMELL, however, has now been sent for a spell.

NOVAK (T Comignaghi) – Trainer Mr. C Isdale reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, and it is his intention to carry on with NOVAK’S current preparation, where he may nominate him for the Canterbury JC meeting on Wednesday 5 March.

Race 9 RACECOURSE HOTEL & MOTOR LODGE 1600m
STAR IN THE SKY (M McNab) – Te Akau Racing Manager Mr. R Trumper reported to Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, however, has now been retired as a racing proposition from their stable.

VALYRIAN (A Lindahl) – Trainer Ms R Ayton reported to Stewards, she was satisfied with the post-race condition of VALYRIAN, and it is her intention to carry on with the mare’s current preparation.
