Race 8 HAUNUI FARM KING’S PLATE (G3) (1200 metres)
MANRICO (T Newman) – Trainer Mr. S Ralph reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and it his intention to continue on with the gelding’s current preparation.

Race 9 VODAFONE NZ DERBY (G1) (2400 metres)
MARCHAND (L Innes) – Trainer Mr. L Noble advised Stewards, MARCHAND, underwent a veterinary examination on Tuesday 8 March which revealed the gelding to have a bone chip to the left front fetlock. L Noble further advised the gelding will undergo surgery next week to have the bone chip removed.
