Race 2 CANTERBURY WESTLAND RACING OWNERS ASSOCIATION 1200m
SHINTO (T Moseley) – Trainer Ms. M Cunneen advised Stewards, SHINTO underwent a veterinary examination on Monday 18 September which included x-rays, with results showing bone chips to both front knees. M Cunneen further advised the gelding will now undergo an operation next week.

Race 6 ELMWOOD TRADING COMPANY 2000m
MR PHOTOGENIC (K Williams) – Stable representative Mr. J Best reported to Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, however, has now been sent for a spell.

Race 8 NEW ZEALAND BLOODSTOCK CANTERBURY BELLE STAKES 1200m
MIS SPEAKS (B Murray) – Trainer Ms. M Cunneen advised Stewards that upon return to the stable the filly was showing signs of jarring up with MIS SPEAKS now being sent for a spell.

Race 8 NEW ZEALAND BLOODSTOCK CANTERBURY BELLE STAKES 1200m
AMIINIT (K Hercock) – Trainer Mr. J Blackadder reported to Stewards, the filly pulled up post-race distressed, and upon return to the stable was showing signs of jarring up and shin soreness. J Blackadder further advised AMIINIT has now been sent for a spell.
